Confession: We started in the window industry working for the big brand name companies, charged with the heartbreaking job of removing 100+ yr. old original solid wood windows, and replacing them with plastic, vinyl & fiberglass trash that wouldn’t last half as long.

The new ones work great in the showroom but, hit them with sun and snow and, let the warping and cracking begin. Before you know it, your new windows are worse than the originals you tore out. An unnecessary waste of original beauty and high quality craftsmanship. So, we set out to be better stewards of the details that give historic homes their charm and character. We don’t deal plastic!

If your window is drooping or drafty, has a rotten spot, has broken glass, doesn’t open or close so good (or at all), it’s no reason to throw it out. It might just need a little tune up, and that’s what we’re here for!
